Our Story
About Amber & Pink
We’re Fariha and Hamza, and with the help of our brother Ibrahim in India, Amber & Pink is our way of carrying a piece of home across oceans and bringing it to life here in Canada.
Who are we?
We work closely with artisans in India who still practice the age-old tradition of block printing pressing hand-carved wooden blocks into fabric with natural inks, one careful imprint at a time. No machines, no shortcuts. Just the steady rhythm of hands that have inherited a craft passed down through generations.
In a world that rushes forward, this process helps us slow down. Each print carries its own story. The small imperfections, the marks of the maker, the quiet beauty of something made with care.
Together, we source 100% cotton textiles that feel as good as they look, pieces that hold memory, meaning, and soul.
Amber & Pink is more than fabric. It’s a bridge between our roots and where we are now and we hope it brings joy into your homes and hearts too!
